I hadn't thought of that explanation for why N. trusts Kendra, but I like it very much. That will be my head canon from now on ;-)
That's what I noticed about Kendra too, how pretty and stylish her clothes and makeup were. It might be part of her perfectionism, but I also think she simply enjoys taking care of herself and looking good.
